Michael Shelton is our President and lead Financial Advisor, but you can think of him like your general contractor who will oversee every aspect of your financial project. Michael will meet with you to learn about your current financial situation and your goals for the future. Once he understands your needs, he will put together a custom financial plan just for you. He will present your plan, gather your feedback and input, and then tweak it as needed. After you and Michael agree on your financial plan, he will work with his team of experts to implement it. Just like a general contractor has electricians, plumbers, carpenters, and painters to step up and help build a house, a Registered Financial Consultant has experts in every corner as well. Michael has established relationships with strategic partners such as attorneys, tax specialists, insurance advisors, and more.

Michael is well-known as the region’s “go-to” Advisor for retirement planning needs. After rapidly growing a client list at a Fortune 100 company, Michael went out on his own to create 360 Financial Solutions, LLC. Michael specializes in retirement income planning and is also an Investment Advisor Representative. Michael is known for being a Dave Ramsey SmartVestor Pro as well as a Dave Ramsey ELP for Tax Services. Michael also has a second office in Lynchburg to handle the referrals he receives from Thomas Road Baptist Church and Liberty University.
Michael received the prestigious Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation from the College for Financial Planning. Michael has also been seen on the local CBS, FOX and NBC Affiliates, and has appeared in The Roanoke Times, Valley Business Front Magazine, and many other media outlets. With this attention, Michael has built a network with some of the best local strategic partners for his clients. Michael frequently receives requests for financial presentations from companies, municipalities, and churches for seminars because of his industry knowledge. He greatly appreciates the opportunity to speak and share his vast experience with others.
Michael is an Iraqi Freedom War veteran that actively participates in many veterans’ organizations and his church. He is also the Immediate Past President of the Brambleton Area Business Association (BABA). In his spare time, he likes to spend time with his family, especially his two young daughters; to watch and play sports; and cook.
Jill has nearly 30 years of experience in the fields of broadcasting, marketing, public relations, and nonprofit organizational management. Jill assists with overall operations and oversees the company’s marketing efforts.
She is a graduate of Roanoke College where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Communications. She believes in giving back to the community and is a part of the Advisory Board for American National University’s business programs and is a co-founder of the local networking group for women, AWE (Amazing Women Executives). She is also a former head cheer-leading coach for the Salem Parks & Recreation Department, and a former Volunteer Communications Coordinator for Skills USA-Virginia, to name a few.
Jill’s favorite professional passion includes building business relationships. She lives in Salem with her husband Jeff and has three children. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, baking, and traveling.
Holly brings phenomenal customer relations experience to 360 Financial Solutions. Her wealth of administrative and service-oriented knowledge was obtained from previously working for a local law firm and also in a local school system for many years. Holly is the cheerful voice you hear when calling our office. You will also see her at our many Dave Ramsey events we hold with churches, libraries, schools, government systems and wherever else we receive seminar requests for. When Holly is not blessing us with her joyful presence, you will find her with her husband, four kids and two dogs! She enjoys dates with her husband, working out, cooking and being her kids’ biggest cheerleader.
Shannon has superior tax knowledge as well as extensive experience in the customer service, banking and insurance industries.
She holds a degree in business from Ferrum College and an MBA from Liberty University.
Janice has extensive financial experience in the insurance, legal, and banking industries. She has been delivering great value to clients as a financial consultant, helping them plan for their short-term needs and long-term goals. She is a very well-organized individual, able to keep multiple priorities in mind with aiming for the best outcome for her clients. Through her strong active listening and analytical skills, she can customize her client’s needs.
She is a skilled tax advisor and keeps abreast of all changes in state and federal tax regulations, working hard to make sure her clients can make the most of their money. While she is not in front of a client, she loves to travel, shop and spend time with her family.
Jessica handles payroll and bookkeeping for our clients and is another friendly voice when you have a question about these matters.
She works full-time and is attending Liberty University. She will graduate in May with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration: Project Management.
Bill has been with 360 for 14 years! He handles bookkeeping, payroll, and sales tax. He enjoys helping the firm’s clients and getting to know them both professionally and personally. Bill previously spent 25 years working for the Pilot Corporation where he held the positions of cashier, head cashier, assistant manager, manager and the director of maintenance. Prior to Pilot, Bill managed a convenience store in Georgia.
Bill had a couple of mentors along the way who influenced who he is. He “watched, listened, and took to heart,” the lessons that they wanted him to learn and this had a profound effect on his character. These lessons included how to naturally care about clients and how to help them succeed. Other lessons were also rooted in faith which he also still practices today. Bill has enjoyed all that he has learned so far over his long career and says that he has the “desire to work, to continue to learn, and experience.”
