Michael Shelton is our President and lead Financial Consultant, but you can think of him like your general contractor who will oversee every aspect of your financial project. Michael will meet with you to learn about your current financial situation and your goals for the future. Once he understands your needs, he will put together a custom financial plan just for you. He will present your plan, gather your feedback and input, and then tweak it as needed. After you and Michael agree on your financial plan, he will work with his team of professionals to implement it. Just like a general contractor has electricians, plumbers, carpenters, and painters to step up and help build a house, a financial consultant has specialists that they can work with as well. Michael has established relationships with strategic partners such as attorneys, tax experts, insurance advisors, and more.

    MICHAEL SHELTON, RFC

    President & CEO

    Wealth Management & Strategy Consultant

    Michael is well-known as the region’s “go-to” Consultant for financial needs. Michael’s specialty is in the Medical and Real-Estate business owner needs.  Michael is known for being a Dave Ramsey SmartVestor Pro as well as a Dave Ramsey ELP for Tax Services.  Michael also has a second office in Lynchburg to handle the referrals he receives from Thomas Road Baptist Church and Liberty University.

    Michael received the prestigious Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation from the College for Financial Planning.  He then obtained the Registered Financial Consultant credential. Michael has also been seen on the local CBS, FOX and NBC Affiliates, and has appeared in The Roanoke Times, Valley Business Front Magazine, and many other media outlets. With this attention, Michael has built a network with some of the best local strategic partners for his clients.

    Michael is an Iraqi Freedom War veteran that actively participates in many veterans’ organizations and his church.  He is also the Immediate Past President of the Brambleton Area Business Association (BABA).  In his spare time, he likes to spend time with his family; his beautiful Registered Nurse and wife, Whitney, and especially his two young daughters; watch and play sports; and cook.

    Jeremy is an approved Enrolled Agent (EA), which makes him a federally-authorized tax practitioner empowered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. This means he’s legally authorized to represent you before the IRS for tax issues, including audits, collections, and appeals.

    Enrolled Agent status is the highest credential awarded by the IRS and is recognized across all 50 U.S. states. There are only 53,000 credentialed EA in the nation. Jeremy belongs to an elite segment of the country’s financial professionals.

    Jeremy is a great compliment to Michael. He is here to help with your business needs and any IRS tax issue you may run across. He’s represented people in front of the IRS with a wide array of issues, including owing large sums, and has successfully brought those numbers to a manageable amount.

    AARON LASSITER, EA

    SENIOR STAFF ACCOUNTANT

    Aaron is our Senior Staff Accountant with 10+ years of experience in accounting and finance.  He has received a Bachelor’s in Finance and Master’s in Accounting from Liberty University.  During his tenure in the corporate sector, he obtained valuable experience in the areas of general accounting, business operations, and FP&A.  Aaron has a higher level of experience and responsibilities.  These include but are not limited to creating, forecasting, and budgeting for multiple companies up to $100 million as well as managing the financial operations.

    Though he is analytical, he has the ability to establish rapport easily; developing and cultivating relationships wherever he goes.  He enjoys conversing with clients and aims to provide an individualized and authentic experience.  In meeting him you experience his vibrant personality that compliments his dynamic work ethic.

    Aaron has also obtained his Enrolled Agent (EA) which enables him to provide services to a variety of clients in any state.  This has also expanded his knowledge base to produce better results and tax solutions for clients.

    In all of Aaron’s accomplishments, he is most proud of his loving family, his wife and two beautiful children.  He enjoys watching movies, except for horror!  He is a football fan, who also likes finding new methods of cooking, and most of all riding motorcycles.

    Insurance & Risk Management Consultant

    Jacob Dalton is the founder and president of Tactical Financial, a partner company of 360 Financial Solutions, LLC. Jacob has served in the U.S. Army for over 10 years most recently as a Drill Sergeant for the 98th Training Division. Jacob is married to his wife Kayla Dalton who helps with the medical qualification part of the business and social media marketing. Jacob has three kids ranging in age from 6 to 11. In his spare time, Jacob enjoys running, going to the beach and spending time with his family. Jacob has been involved in helping others throughout his career and is dedicated to making each interaction easy and built on a relationship of trust and compassion.

    Jessica handles payroll, bookkeeping and tax preparation for our clients and is another friendly voice when you have a question about these matters. Jessica has became an expert in problem solving many items throughout 360. Her attention to detail and organizational abilities has made her an asset for the business and our clients.

    Jessica is a graduate of Liberty University where she successfully achieved a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration: Project Management.

    BILL BOCOOK

    Tax Consultant & Bookkeeper

    Sales & Use, Local Tax Specialist

    Bill has been with 360 for 14 years!  He handles bookkeeping, payroll, and sales tax.  He enjoys helping the firm’s clients and getting to know them both professionally and personally.  Bill previously spent 25 years working for the Pilot Corporation where he held the positions of cashier, head cashier, assistant manager, manager and the director of maintenance.  Prior to Pilot, Bill managed a convenience store in Georgia.

    Bill had a couple of mentors along the way who influenced who he is.  He “watched, listened, and took to heart,” the lessons that they wanted him to learn and this had a profound effect on his character.  These lessons included how to naturally care about clients and how to help them succeed.   Other lessons were also rooted in faith which he also still practices today.  Bill has enjoyed all that he has learned so far over his long career and says that he has the “desire to work, to continue to learn, and experience.”

    Vivian has prepared taxes for over 30 years. She brings incredible knowledge to the office, especially with the clients in the retirement phase of their life. She prepares the majority of the Real Estate tax returns, as well as Michael’s investment client tax returns. Vivian constantly stays up-to-date with tax codes in her aim to reduce every client’s tax burden.
